AI Carnot’s partnership with Skopai comes in the wake of this year’s RDV Carnot (« Les Rendezvous Carnot ») event which takes off from the 18th to 19th Nov. 2021 at the Cité des Congrès in Lyon- France.
AI Carnot oversees the network of Carnot institutes. Their objective is to develop partnerships with research laboratories and companies to promote R&D for innovation.
In collaboration with research institutes, Skopai, established in 2017 as a spin-off of LIG (Laboratoire d’Informatique de Grenoble) of the University of Grenoble Alpes, is a SaaS platform providing up to date information on start-ups all over the world using it’s AI technology. Skopai will provide AI Carnot with information available on its platform for the selection of start-up candidates for the Start-up and innovative SME Pitch session. This information are based on metrics such as Readiness level: investment, market, and technology, Registered patents, team size, Maturity level, The percentage of deep tech companies and Start-up comparison option.
The pitch zone will see outstanding start-ups and innovative SMEs pitching their product or service to industry players, large companies including major contractors.
With this priviledged access to the Skopai’s knowledge base, Skopai also enjoys the privilege of participating in the event to promote its solution.
This event is organized around business meetings between experts from the world of research and company managers from different industries such as digital technology, micro and nanotechnologies, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, chemicals and materials, energy, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, agri-food and nutrition, etc.
It will include welcome and animation sessions (opening, round-tables (opening, round tables, Start-up and innovative SME pitches, conferences, workshops…) as well as the presentation of research discoveries by the various laboratories present to the socio-economic world.
