Sustainable and environmental goals have impacted the European start-up ecosystem. We examined the landscape of GreenTech start-ups, their industries, business models, and maturity stages. Solutions for energy (29%) and innovations in materials (27%) dominate the lanscape. Other targets for sustaibility innovations include industrial sector, food industry, waste management, smart building and smart city, chemical and agricultural industries, as well as packaging, mobility, and water industry. Most start-ups provide solutions to other businesses (B2B: 90%) and at the go-to-market maturity stage (61%).
